THOMAS JEFFERSON ROCKED!!!
“Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the surest way to destruction.” Did the man know something? Plato did and those who read and understood what man is capable of knew the greed and power factor could be let loose if not checked. You can’t take it with you. I love being a old hippie and keeping in check what is needed and what is not.
Women Rape Men In Zimbabwe; Keep Sperm For Later Rituals
Three women in Zimbabwe who targeted at least 17 male hitchhikes for rape over a span of two years are in jail.
Well isn’t that special…Raped the men to use the sperm in ceremonies to cast away evil spirits. They used condoms to save the sperm; at least they did not infect themselves with any sexual transmitted diseases.

PAT SUMMITT=EARLY STAGES OF ALZHEIMER’S=SADNESS
Alzheimer’s disease does not discriminate and honey at age 59 one would think it to be to young for this disease to strike. Pat Summitt, coach of the women’s basketball team at University of Tennessee has let it be known that she has early stages of dementia (onset of Alzheimer’s). She is a champion, in athletics and to the human race. Be as brave as you can be Coach, you are so well-loved and respected.
4 DOGS, MYSELF + SEVEN CATS (ALONE FOR A FEW DAYS)
It is 3:30AM and Juno (Ci-wa-wa/Corgi combo) has begun to stir and because she has awaken that means all the animals in the home have to partake in her semi-rowdy adventures. Tis no big thing, I am ready to get up and open the door to a somewhat comfortable early morning. 85 degrees with no humidity gets me going to the backyard to hand water some plants, feed the cats, dogs, make some coffee an have my almost alone time of day. Large, medium, small and smaller describes the dogs and all of you who have cats know who controls the home. Our cats have kept the dogs in order; no chasing, no aggressive behavior to any of the felines who hang around; sauntering, sniffing and purring is allowed at all times. Bluff has been made and all dogs understand, it is well noted and recorded.
In chronological order we have an 11-year-old female, Mini Schnauzer (barking, control freak who has lost her edge), 2 1/2-year-old Rott, Shep, Chow combo (only male canine in the home, is the pack protector, lover). 1 1/2-year-old Chi-wa-wa/ Corgi combo, (muscle-bound swimmer and Napoleona complex) and last but not least is our 9 month old Boxer/Jack Russell Terrier who is silly as the rest and the pack is complete for the time being. Before sunrise we will get going to the foothills to hike for a while, trying to exhaust the younger ones and if that doesn’t do the deed we will hang at my brothers home and use his pool. Little things in life continue to make me happy especially when you have unconditional love!!!!
Time to go; have the best day you can, I know I will.
SHONI SCHIMMEL!!!!!! (NOW–YOUNGER SISTER PLAYS AT LOUISVILLE)
If you watched the women’s NCAA basketball game between Louisville and Gonzaga you witnessed a star in the making; her name is Shoni Schimmel, a young Native American woman from Oregon. She got off the reservation and is playing the game she loves and is one of the best young players in the nation. Louisville lost to Gonzaga but honey, there is definitely a star in the making. She is proud, strong, knows where she comes from and where she is going and is going to be in the WNBA; she still has three years to play at Louisville, it is good to watch great basketball. Her Mom coached her in high school. Mom never got the chance to play college ball–she had offers but her high school coach put a damper on her to the recruiters. Mom stayed on the reservation until it was her time to leave and take over coaching the high school program, where Shoni attended. Good job Mom, I know your Nation and tribe are proud of both Mom and daughter.
Update: Shoni’s younger sister is also playing for Louisville—watch out ladies, here they come. Do it well and make your team great.
