NOT DEAD YET
This one is hard to believe but here goes….Johannesburg South Africa a man awoke to find himself in a morgue fridge–nearly a day after his family thought he had died, a health official said Monday. Health department spokesman Sizwe Kupelo said the man awoke Sunday afternoon, 21 hours after his family called in an undertaker who sent him to the morgue after an asthma attack.
Morgue owner Ayanda Maqolo said he sent his driver to collect the body shortly after the family reported the death. Maqolo said he thought the man was around 80 years old. “When he got there, the driver examined the body, checked his pulse, looked for a heartbeat, but there was nothing.” Maqolo said, but a day after the staff put the body into a locked refrigerated compartment, morgue workers heard the man shouting for help. If that don’t make you straighten up and fly right, I don’t know what will.
Is this a true account or somebody trying to keep others in line? I say hmmmm.
GIL SCOTT HERON–DEAD–”THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED”
I first heard Gil Scot Heron and the voice over the radio said, “The Revolution will not be Televised.” I wanted to know more and more is what I got; the artist, musician, activist, rapper (original true grit) and in my opinion all around observational voice, is silenced by his death but his words live on. Maybe the man can find peace with his death, he sure was not comfortable living. “Life is not a dress rehearsal, it is the real thing.” I think Sid Cesar said it.

COSTCO IS IN FOR A BIG FINANCIAL LOSS
I don’t know if those who read my ramblings know about the gentlemen who was killed just outside the entrance/exit to Costco in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas. Well honey it is going to be a major case regarding the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and the giant company. Gentleman was carrying a concealed weapon inside the store, it was holstered, he had a concealed weapons permit and bingo an employee more or less said to him, “no weapons in the store”…. The guy was bent over seeing if some bottled water could fit into his backpack and so the drama began. If you look around Costco there is no posting of “no fire arms allowed” in or out of the store. Things got hairy from there; store was evacuated, 911 was called and the bottom line to this is the guy is dead. Shot outside the store by three different cops who were close enough to him to tap him on the shoulder, taser or wrestle him to the ground, anything besides the fatal shooting. Bottom line to this the guy did not have to die and Costco and the LVMPD are being scrutinized as they should be. Check it out, the guy was white, West Point Grad, resident of Las Vegas, in other words nobody can hide behind the color game. Less than ten days before this happening a young African-American was blown away in his bathroom by police with a BS warrant and loaded up for war. Unarmed, on his knees and his hands in the air, go figure that. Coroners inquest for both; this won’t be a white wash as justifiable deaths as been done in the past. Vegas has to grow up and face the facts that knowledge of incidents quickly obtained will let the honesty factor play out. Do you think the videos are going to be available?
Coroners inquest today, first time it is a live broadcast and honey it is rich–will fill you in on details later.
Missed the death sentence!!!
Miss Katelynn is living with us an experiencing another life. Her owner died and she is an old lady dog that was going to be put down because nobody wanted a big 13-year-old with bad eye sight, slight dementia and weakness in her legs. Oh no, it so happens she came to finish out her life with us and a little MSN, quality food, some exercise she has regained her strength and has found her forever home. I was told she was a Schnauzer, but looking at her somewhere in her lineage she might have had Schnauzer, but her purple black tongue and the shape of her ears has me believing she is Sharpei and ? Life is good with Katelynn and the cats can’t even give her an attitude.
EDWARD M. KENNEDY
May peace be with you, one of our best Americans!!!!
WOMEN 2 MEN 0 (MCNAIR, GATTI)
Is turn about fair play? You be the judge. Men have gotten away with crimes of passion regarding their wives or girlfriends, or wives and girlfriends; I wonder if Auturo Gatti’s wife will be able to get off of the charge of murder with the same standard that men have used, “Crime of Passion?”
McNair’s girlfriend has not the chance because she supposedly offed herself…What a waste, she actually believed the hustle. What do you expect from a 20 year old woman of immigrant status, hooking up with a big, American almost Idol? Whore-hound told her some shit she believed and when she couldn’t handle it any more, adios my love.
Gatti’s wife has a chance, young, beautiful and hot blooded South American. Let us see if she gets the same standard as the men in Brazil and other South American countries do. Until the next time, as the title says Women 2, Men 0.
SKI DEATH-CONVICTION-NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE
I use to wonder what would happen if somebody died from a reckless skiing accident, now I know. A German politician involved in a fatal collision with a fellow skier at the intersection of two trails in Austria was convicted (key word) of negligent homicide. Dieter Althaus, a state governor, did not attend Tuesday’s trail because he is recovering from head injuries he suffered in the Jan. 1st collision.
What is the sentence for negligent homicide in Austria? Faster, faster, faster and? No humor to this, just trying to visualize the situation and can just imagine the impact to cause death.
No snow here, off to run the dogs and adopt a few more cats.
STILL FEELING THE FALLOUT FROM THE PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION
I am so angry at the casualness of the past administration for the concern of the American public. War, war, war, dick, dick, dick, kill, kill, kill and phuque anybody who disagrees with our position. Vegas is not the only place with the Hepatitis C scare and death from dirty instruments used in medical procedures.
Months before a North Carolina company shipped deadly bacteria tainted drugs, the Food and Drug Administration received complains about sediment and debris in the medicine. Did the FDA act upon this, no!!! Results of the inaction is death and sickness linked to receiving the medicines during chemotherapy, kidney dialysis and other intravenous procedures.
Two men pleaded guilty in federal court this week for their roles in a scheme involving falsifying documents to make it appear that sterility tests had been conducted. Company President Dushyant Patel faces 10 charges, but authorities think he fled to his native India. He got tipped off and split, otherwise more then two men would not be the only ones charged with this crap.
Sometimes I wonder if it is not payback for the crap we have done to other countries. Bhopal, India with the United Carbide explosion that killed, injured and maimed so many; what we did in Chile by having Allende assassinated because he wanted Chile to reap some rewards from the foreign owned companies that put nothing back into the country but gathered the riches.
Greed is international, get on board and make this so called Democracy we live in, pay attention to its pledge to us.
Done with this rant, off to the lake and see what kind of mischief the dogs and I can get into.
CONTINENTAL AIRLINE CRASH NEAR BUFFALO–ON AUTO PILOT
Explain to me why a forty five minute flight should be on auto pilot? I don’t think the pilot has control when the plane is on “AUTO PILOT”. Fifty people dead that did not have to die. I wonder if Continental Airlines is ready to pay out the wazoo for their ineptness? It is not the financial pay out; the loss of life so needlessly caused.
LET’S EAT SOME PEANUT BUTTER–NOT!!!
Before I start my rant, let me say what a great second half the Super Bowl was. I didn’t lose any money, bet on the Cardinals and beat the spread. (Luck was with me)
The question posed is what happens to the company who knew it was wrong to process the peanuts in the conditions that were causing illness and death? Nothing, if the past is any clue. Slap on the wrist and continue to do business, until you get caught for continually doing the same dirty deed. (key word in last sentence is dirty)
Federal health officials opened a criminal investigation Friday into the Georgia peanut-processing plant at the cent of the national salmonella outbreak. What took so long, and why are they still in business?
The investigation into PEANUT CORP. OF AMERICA follows reports of shoddy sanitation practices and inspections that found the company sold contaminated peanut products to food makers. ( The bottom line to this last statement, the company knew the products were contaminated)
China has sentenced to death the owners of the factory and a farmer who incorporated melanine with their milk products. What do we do with the men who made the decision to sell the contaminated peanut products? Nothing really, a fine, slap on the wrist and the ability to continue to process the food in the same way. Who is watching out for us?
529 people have been sickened and at least eight people have died. More then 430 products have recalled and pulled off the shelves.
Take a trip with me. We do not have to worry as much as to outsiders invading us to disrupt our lives–it is all being done internally. Done with that rant, off to the hills with the dogs, I will not eat peanut butter even if they (Who are they?) say it is okay.
