GENDER TEST: ARE YOU MAN OR A WOMAN?

Remember the athlete who won the world 800-meter last month?  She is so androginous looking, there was a question of her gender.  IAAF (International Amatuer Athletic Federation) has received the  test results of her gender testing, but are not publicly publishing them.  Word out is that the medical report on the 18-year old (female athlete) indicate she has no ovaries, but rather has internal male testes, which are producing large amounts of testosterone.  Bottom line is she is both, what do you do with the Olympics and all such athletes?  Do we have Special Olympics for those of yin and yang gender?

She is a handsome looking woman and she is not taking male hormones, she is producing them on her own and she has a true unadulterated vag,

TITLE lX–WOMENS NCAA ATHLETICS!!!!

I just watched the best women’s, college basketball game that Maryland and Duke had to offer.  James Naismith would have been proud.  Oklahoma and Texas women are playing now, have to watch this one and report to you all a little later.

Athletic, smart, beautiful, physically gifted athletes, what a visual pleasure.

Oklahoma completely dominated Texas, no competition in that one.  My predictions for the NCAA tournament.  I have not yet ruled out Connecticut winning the title, but teams that could be right there in the fight are, (in my opinion) Auburn, Oklahoma, Stanford, Duke and Maryland look really good.

No matter, who shows up at the dance it is going to be a good one and I am so proud of the woman athletes, let the games continue.  Watching Purdue and Ohio State, I don’t know if I can take all this great action!!!

March 15th…I don’t know if any team can beat Connecticut, but it should be a great game whomever they play.  Baylor vs Texas A&M for the Big 12 title and later Stanford to play a long shot USC.  So exciting and well schooled fundamentals, it is good day.  Off to the dog park for some interaction and goofiness.  Have the best day you can, I will.

DON’T PHUQUE WITH TITLE “9″

The boys are crying, “too much money is spent on woman’s sports and we don’t think it is fair.”  Men, the original cry babies, woman’s athletics are happening, basketball (winner) volleyball (winner) track & field (winner) swimming (winner) gymnastics (winner);  (I know I have missed some) what beautiful, strong, intelligent woman and to think with scholarships 85% of the woman graduate and use their degrees wisely.  Now, I know basketball and football are the money makers for the university but hey, how about respect and knowledge don’t they fit in at the university level?  Congress, don’t mess with “TITLE 9″, it gives the action of sports a prettier picture then some of the men and their activities off the playing field.  WNBA is a direct connection to the fabulous athletes that have been able to play basketball while going to college.  Essence Carson, Candace Parker, Elana Larkin are the yongsters that have made it a “have to see game” and so on that energy, watch some of these games and see some exciting, technical, and physical basketball skills.  Off to play plumber, adios and make sure you vote and be kind to a stranger today.

WOMENS VOLLEYBALL UNLV–ALMOST

Young and willing but not quite there to beat pre season ranked #10 Wisconsin.  Rebels took Wisconsin to five games before and 18-16 win by the Badgers, oh so close.  Women’s Volleyball in Las Vegas Nevada, families and great athletic action.  I am pleased to be a season ticket holder-think about big, strong, athletic women, having brains and a little brawn that makes the gender proud.  Go Lady Rebs, we know you will be at your best when conference season starts.  Thank you for a fine match this evening.  Tomorrow is another day and we will be there!!!

OLYMPICS-SPITZ-BOTOX–WHAT DO THEY HAVE IN COMMON?

“Greatest Swimmer Ever.”  Mark Spitz, that is his title and Michael Phelps will try to bring that title to himself.  Mark Spitz is still making the $’s after many years away from his Olympic glory.  The Spitz Man has released a new biography, titled “Mark Spitz:  The Extraordinary Life of an Olympic Athlete.”  He is also making the appearances on behalf of “Your Personal Best.”  If that sounds like a phrase to inspire your athletes, or to encourage people to rise to a challenge, you are wrong.

In reality, “Your Personal Best” is a campaign promoting the use of Botox to paralyze muscles to negate wrinkles.”   [Ann Killion, San Jose Mercury News]

If it makes you shudder that an American icon can be reduced to such inanity, oh well.  That’s the Olympic endgame–cashing in on ones accomplishments.  The American way, no big thing an observation.  Do you know of many professional swimmers?  Ester Williams she was in the romantic swimming movies in the 40’s as was Winter Olympic Ice Skater, Sonja Heine in her sport of figure skating.  Oh well, off to run the dogs and have glorious day, I hope all of you have the day that brings smiles to many.

WORLD SERIES: ANGELS VS CUBS!!!! (NOT)

I had the vision, and it was the Angels & Cubbies in the World Series–what a series it would be.  Power, quickness, great gloves and just fun to watch; okay now it is up to them to make my cosmic vision be truthful.  It is not like I have seen Jesus on my garage wall after a rain (it doesn’t rain much in the Vegas Valley) or Mother Theressa on a cinnamon roll in a Nashville bakery…My cosmic vision of a fine baseball series with two exceptional teams and excellent managers….Go Cubs and Angels make my vision be truthful.

UPDATE:  The Cubs choked, a really good Dodger team has left the Cubs in the dust; Angels are behind two zip to Boston, oh well, my vision was just that, mine.  Next year is the famous refrain I shall have to use.  Today is a beautiful day no matter and life at “Last Chance Ranch” got better also.  10 month old German Short-hair Pointer called Hendrick has found a permanent home.  I nick named him WHEELER; he has a slight impairment, his rear legs are paralyzed but he has his own set of wheels to get about and he has found his final home and is just scooting around the property with his ten month old energy.  I am sure he is going to need off road wheels as soon as he is allowed to roam.  Pictures will appear shortly.  Life is good and it will always get better if you chose to make it better.

Oh well, rip that ticket up, how about the Dodgers and Tampa Bay for a new world series adventure?  I will be cheering the Dodgers.  (Please let them make it)

UNLV VOLLEYBALL

UNLV Volleyball has come of age; winning is not what other teams do, it is an attitude that UNLV has discovered and will keep.  Last season was so successful for the team and the fans, I wish I had the $’s to support them besides being a season ticket holder.  What am I trying to say?  The Volleyball team is planning a competition tour of Europe in May of 2009.  That gives us enough time to raise the required $’s to get the ladies and coaching staff on their way to Europe.  $40,000 is what is needed to make it happen; if any of you out there know what it is like to be an athlete, ready to compete on the world stage and is just a tad short of the financial requirement to get there–put a few bucks in and you will be proud you did.   The checks can be made out to the UNLV Foundation/RAF and mailed to UNLV RAF, 4505 Maryland Parkway Box 450030, Las Vegas NV  89154.  Please make sure you earmark the check, VOLLEYBALL EUROPE.

UPDATE:  2008 is a young team; win some lose some but they are fun to watch and they will only get better.  The energy is good and the attitude is positive; Go Rebels, we are watching and enjoying the effort.

Vegas is more then T&A, UFC and gambling, it is a town of working class people who want the best for their children, help us out and the next time you are in Vegas please stop by the COX Pavilion, attached to the Thomas & Mack Center and watch and enjoy the best wholesome entertainment in our town. (Volleyball is a Fall season sport)  Thanks in advance for those who want to contribute to a good cause.  GO REBELS!!!!

Wish I had Mr. Wynn’s email address or come to think about it the the Maloof Men, if you know them, ask them to kick in a little and we would do them good.  (through word)

NCAA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

  • It was one of the best college women’s basketball games I’ve seen.  Stanford the team, (key word in last phrase–team) beat U CON.  What a true meaning of the word team along with Candice Wiggins, what a pleasure to watch the skill, smarts and the ability to come together and win.  It takes intelligence to play the way Stanford played, I guess that is why the GPA of the athletes is more or less 3.7.  Beyond being smart, Standford changed to the triangle offense, the thought process and sharpness of their passes were just amazing.  Do  you think I like to watch good basketball?  What happened to the big game between LSU and Tennessee?  Candice Parker is hurt and still left it on the floor…What a trooper-dislocated shoulder and all.  Tuesday is the championship game and if Stanford plays the way they have been playing for the last two months, they will be the NCAA champions.  Go Stanford!!!  Off to run the dogs, have a great day because I will.  Tad more regarding LSU–no scoring, had all the opportunities to win the game and just could not get over the hump.

Update:  Now you know that Ms. Summits teams are special, they play to their opponents weakneess, and that is just what Tennessee did.  They wooped Stanford.  Congratulations to all, Stanford will be back, they are young and only Candace Wiggins graduates this year.  Candace Parker (Miss Tennessee) will be the first pick in the WNBA draft today–Los Angeles Sparks will get the first pick and you and I know they are just drooling for the presence of Ms. Parker to join the team.  The draft is deep this year, rookies are going to make a large impact on how the game is going to be played.  Yeah for Title 9 and the greatness of women athletes!!!!  We are off to the mountains, dogs and I for an adventure.   Have to add my view on the General appearing before the Senate Committee–BS!!!  This is a no win situation and the $ that are being spent on this crap has the making of a great disaster that already have the roots planted.  Boys and their toys will be the end of this civilazation as we know it.

NO I DIDN’T TAKE STEROIDS!!?!!

I love this one, go figure.  Tammy Thomas a former Olympic Cyclist denied before a Grand Jury that she took performance enhancing drugs.  Check this out; some of the side effects of using steroids for woman are, beard growth, male pattern baldness, and a dramatic voice change, they did not say if she had to wear an athletic supporter if the growth was below her waist.  Three out of the four above mentioned physical side effects were noticeable on Tammy in the time frame of her use of BALCO products. Why lie, you got caught and who is going to believe you and the Bonds man?  BALCO was your vitamin and lotion supplier.  Life in the big city, I am going run the dogs and see what kind of mischief we can get into or avoid, whatever comes up.
