If one has one spark of intelligence and a worldly spirit–please get it, I mean get it.  McCain and Palin are not the ones to be our so called “LEADERS”.  They will go along with the same programs that have got us in this mess and think that “Oil” can pull us out of the the quicksand that greed has caused.  Think about it, who are McCain’s advisers?  Who writes the speeches that the Senator and Gov read, who are their fiscal and policy adviser?  The SOS that has been coming at us for eight years.  Get real folks this is going to be a generational conflict inside the US….”Old scared people” vs “I want a piece of the pie while it is still warm.”  Get ready and vote and make it count because the dumbing down of America continues if you elect the demented warrior or Lying ex beauty queen.

VEGAS DEBACLE–HEP C AND MORE

Awhile ago I told the story of the “DIRTY SYRINGES AND UNHEALTHY MEDICAL PROCEDURES” performed by quite a few clinics here in Vegas.  Patients still don’t have their records back that were confiscated by the police, the record keeping at the clinics was abominable.  People are sick and it is going to take some time to bring the culprits to justice, if it ever happens.  $26 million is what Senator Harry Reid wants from Congress to take care of things here in his home state, for the greed that has hurt many and profited by a few.  My thought is why not get the $’s from the owners of the clinics and the Doctors who ran the clinics;  use that money to take care of things?  $26 million is just a drop in the bucket for “Demon Dr. Desai”; he sits on the boards of many different companies, banks, real estate corporations, insurance companies and the medical review board of this State.  Don’t you think he has the bucks?  How many statues of Gods does he need to build in his native land of India?  (If that read like it was hateful, it was–but he is an American and I was trying to be hurtful)

There are lots of sick people left hanging, can’t get their records and have to pay out pocket for this BS.  Enough I say, going off to explore the mountains and then go find some information at the Earth Day Faire in glorious Las Vegas Nevada. 

Las Vegas-BS-Doctors-Liars!!!

I am just so livid with the BS we are getting with the doctors and the politicians in this wild West State. The Hepatitis and HIV threat has been played out as a game not the reality of the threat to human lives.  Those in charge  are in a tight little club of “If I donate for the cause I know you will look the other way.”  I am not shitting you, these doctors who lied and still lie have been on the medical review teams, reelection committees and heads of medical boards and they are thieves that cannot possibly tell the truth.  More, more and more the Dummy Gibbons that calls himself a Governor; today he is calling for the volunteer resignation of the head of licensing in the State; a little to late you schmuck with ear laps.  Enough, why should I think anything should and could be different; the boys and their games and they pretend to be ethical.

ETHICS–NONE HERE!!!

Don’t think the Hep C, B and the HIV Virus scare is only in the Vegas and State of Nevada clinics.  Who oversees the clinics?  How many unannounced visits happen to check out the happenings in the clinics?  Maybe once every three years if it happens, that is not a secure feeling for the patients.  Nevada, wild west, Libertarian, BS.  Control of the facilities was left to the greedy MF’s that did not give a crap about anything but the almighty make more $’s.  Is that the American way, I guess so?   Check this out…Gov. Gibbons says he wants an all-out effort to prevent clinic practices linked to the Hepatitis outbreak; would have more state staffers for that effort if he hadn’t fought approval of additional medical surveyors last year.  The bottom line folks, take care of yourself and see the SHAMAN because medicine in this part of the country is BS.

Let me tell you a story of the “Dr. Desai.”  He owns the clinic that has finally been shut down and now has to give up his license to practice medicine.  1997 I had a liver biopsy performed by Dr. Desai.  I had spent some days at my brothers home swimming in his pool and exercising the dogs, so I had a speedo tan line.  I go to the hospital get nude and put the sheet over, the Doctor comes in and I can hardly understand him, his accent is so thick I really had to pay attention.  (Indian accent, slight British tilt but very thick)  He pulls back the sheet and has a panic attack, “Whut dat, whut dat, whut dat ” he screams to is Nurses Assistant.  The Nursing Assistant calmly explains, “It is a tan line Doctor.”  The Doctor had never seen a tan line and thought it was a disease.  (To him I looked yellow) No problem there, I try to contain myself but just blew it and laughed uncontrollably.  Next, the procedure; long needle to make contact with the liver, they sprayed something on my side so I would not feel the insertion of the needle, did not work, I felt it.  I turn around and the Doctor is telling the NA, he is proud of himself, “I gut it on duh fist try.”  That made me feel great, this Doctor who is scared of a tan line tells his NA, I did good. 

I think I know why the Doctors with hardly any manners own the clinics, they cannot communicate with the patients, better to own the place then have to talk.  The ramble is done and I am off to the run the dogs, beautiful day off the the Mountains, Hepatitis C free.

ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE–GOES DOWN–POLITICALLY AND SEXUALLY

Spokane Washington, sort of a conservative city with the seamy underside being exposed.  Former state senator Richard Curtis, who went to Spokane in late October for a Republican conference, got into trouble when he also stopped at an adult bookstore, picked up a man, and brought him to his hotel room for some “get nasty sexual acts. ” Witnesses told police that Curtis was a regular patron of the adult bookstore, liked to dress in women’s lingerie, and was observed having sex in an upstairs room with a man with a cane.  Well, at least Mr. Curtis, (a married, family man—oops) does not discriminate in his sexual practices–come one come all.  It is just the latest scandal in the lurid decade for Spokane, an outwardly conservative city.  I guess they can blame their actions on the water, because they are a God Fearing community.  Keep those feelings hidden and the worst will come out…Big Fu..ing deal if you are “QUEER”; be proud, strong and words will roll off, because you have the inner strength to survive with dignity.  Stay closeted and this shit comes out; dealing with hustlers, and pimps who will do anyone for the $’s.  Have a wonderful day, the dogs and I are off on an adventure.  Final comment:  Stay involved this is an exciting time in American history, be part of the action and help make the change, yes we can!!!!

MINING REGULATIONS–RANT

I love this one.  Utah should return to the business of regulation of coal mines after a 20 year hiatus.  Utah and the Bush administration (for at least 8 years) have looked the other way, and has let (key word in phrase) business go on as usual, even if the lives of the workers are known to be in jeopardy.  Let us see how long the Mine Safety and Health Administration takes to investigate what went wrong in the Utah mine.  Dollars to donuts, we won’t hear anything till this administration is way out of office.  The administration has rescinded permission for deep underground retreat mining in at least five Utah mines.  What took so long to close down the unsafe way of mining?  The answer is that fat faced, lying owner, greedy, pathetic Bob (I have donated mucho money–so don’t pay attention to my mining techniques) Murray.  I wonder if the owner checked the immigration status of his workers?  I know, they are not union employees–who cares–they are just bodies to do the job.  I wonder what the hourly wage was?  I am done with that rant, stay warm and have an exciting invigorating day!!
