ITALIAN NUCLEAR WASTE–TO UTAH

Can you believe this crap?  The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is seeking public comment on a company’s request to import about 20,000 tons of nuclear waste from Italy, for processing in Tennessee and disposal in Utah.  (The key word in the last sentence is “import.”)  What are they thinking about?  I hope this is BS, like the phony FEMA news conference.  The waste is to enter the USA through the ports of Charleston S.C. and New Orleans.  Recycling radioactive metals have been done in France since they created their nuclear facilities–it is just a hop and skip to France, why ship the crap over here?  Get real, why ask for the waste from others, when you want to bury our own waste in the side of mountain in Nevada?  True, Utah and certain parts of Nevada already look like waste material, but that is ones own eyes not the entire desert population.
