“While shortfall hits state agencies, golf courses enjoy tax break”
January 14, 2008
This is Nevada folks. The good old boys and the $ game trying to play the, “look at me, I care for the folks who work here.” It is the same old BS, nothing has changed, just different looking men. Article written by Jennifer Robison, a Review Journal business reporter and she exposes, not by name but the pushing through of legislation in the 2005 legislative session. ”The 2005 state law granted steep breaks on land values for golf courses.” The state is crying about the budget crunch, cutting school allotments, mental health services, homeless services and the low people on the totem pole get screwed again. (Children, the BS of caring–get real)
Check out the today’s front page of the Review Journal, January 14th, Las Vegas Nevada. Statistics are listed and it is a shame. Greed will be the down fall of western civilization and Nevada is the ring leader. Mr. Wynn can put his elbow into a $20 million dollar painting and still the corporation needs to not pay the fair amount of property taxes. The man is the ultimate hustler.
