Great free newspaper in Vegas “City Life”, Gustavo Arellano wrote this fabulous article regarding the Mitt Man and his Mormon decedents.  Miles Park Romney, the Mitt Mans great grandfather fled the US for Mexico in the 1880’s to escape American authorities and continue his polygamous ways, while Mitt’s papi George was born in Chihuahua and therefore more Mexican than your typical Chicano Studies major.  During the revolution Pancho Villa’s troops were kind enough to not massacre Mormon colonies, allowing the infant George and his family to return home.  I wonder if George had a visa to enter the US, he was born in Mexico.  Let that shinny haired Mormon not forget about history and the Book of Mormon on page 54.  It says on the left side of the page in verse 6 “There shall none come into this land save they shall be brought by the hand of the Lord.”  I want as many Mexicans in this country as possible, and then I want to tell them about Joseph Smith and get them baptized and enjoy the blessing of the temple.  Come on down–your are welcome by me.  Thank you Gustavo Arellano; laugh and whole world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.  Get your asses off the couches and get involved, it is a new day and hope shines.  I was wondering if there are any genealogists that read my rants; if there are, let me know about “Pretty Man Mitt.”  Immigration, immigration, immigration why not war, war, war, and economics?
